Mt. Kenya whole bean is a carefully selected grade of 6.2-6.8mm.It’s a premium blend with moderate bean sizes that yield volume for every pack. Being a standard hard bean, it is roasted on moderate to high temperatures to 4give it the mild black currant attractive look. The grade is highly sorted to obtain a uniform size of beans that grides evenly to produce a homogenous coffee powders that results in a rich espresso colour. Typically the Kenya AB grade is the most plentiful in a particular consignment and is used as a representation of the other grades. It’s often most baristas’ choice.
